We take your child’s safety (and your peace of mind) seriously at Impact Rock. As a result, we have an extensive Child Protection Policy. Each week, every child who participates in a children’s class (as well as any infant in the nursery) will be checked in by the adult who brought them to IRC that day. Parents will be given an identification number that allows them to be paged during the service should anything arise with their child that requires their attention. Following the service, you will then be able to pick up your child at the Welcome Center by turning your identification tag back into the volunteers.
Additionally, we have security cameras in each children’s room and nursery to allow for monitoring at any time. Lastly, every Kids’ Ministry volunteer and staff member at IRC has completed a background check, to ensure that we keep our kids safe. Because of this policy, anyone who is not an approved volunteer must sign into the Kids’ Ministry area as a guest and be identified as such for the duration of their stay.
